Welcome to art at Atoka Elementary! I am the art teacher and I am so excited to have you in my class. Together, we will learn about famous artists and we will create wonderful works of art.
About me:
I graduated from the University of Memphis (go Tigers!) and earned a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art and a Master's degree in Education. I am now working toward a doctoral degree in Instructional Design and Technology.
I have also taught art in Middle and High School. I love art, teaching and technology. Some of my favorite hobbies include photography, reading, running and playing with my kids and pets. (We have dogs, cats, birds, geckos, & ducks). My husband and I have two children and they both attend Atoka Elementary. We are blessed to be a part of a wonderful community of learners.
